Joe Pickett Season 2 Trailer

Fans of Joe Pickett, the badass vigilante hero who is on a quest for revenge after being wrongfully imprisoned, can rejoice because there is good news: Season 2 of the show is in production and set to air in 2019. However, details about the new season are still under wraps.

According to TV Line, production on Joe Pickett Season 2 has already started and will last until early 2020. The first ten episodes of the new season are reportedly written, but no other details about the plot or characters have been released yet.

However, based on the teasers released for Season 1 (pictured below), fans can expect plenty of action and adventure. In one clip, Pickett confronts his old friend, Deputy Andy Travis. In another, he rescues a kidnapped girl from her captors. And in still another scene, he single-handedly takes down a group of criminals.

In addition to shooting new episodes for Season 2, executive producer/writer David Ellison (the creator and executive producer of Fox’s 24) is also working on a new project called “Joe Pickett Universe.” This ambitious project aims to develop multiple spinoff shows featuring different characters from the original series as well as create brand new heroes and villains inspired by Pickett’s world. So far, only one episode has been produced–a short film titled “Joe Pickett: Bounty Hunter”–and it was released online earlier this year. If all goes well with Season 2 of Joe Pickett
