Lavender is cultivated as a medicinal plant, due to which its plant is considered more beneficial. In addition to decoration, the flowers that grow on lavender plants are also used in food. Its flowers are used to create an aroma in many dishes and sweets. Its flowers are sweet, which is also used to increase the sweetness. Oil is also obtained from its plants, which are used in making perfumes, soaps and cosmetics besides food. Its plants are also used in the treatment of many types of diseases.
Lavender flowers are red, purple, blue and black, and the plant is two to three feet tall. The place of origin of its plants is called the continent of Asia. Its completely grown plant gives a yield of 10 years.
Soil, Climate & Temperature

Field Preparation & Fertiliser

Plant Preparation
Lavender plants are transplanted both in seed and seedlings. But by transplanting the seedlings, the yield starts getting in less time. The plants are prepared in the nursery in November and December. Apart from this, its plants can also be prepared by tissue culture. To prepare plants by cutting, the branches of one to two-year-old plants are cut and used.
Transplanting Method
Its seeds can be sown by both seed and cutting methods. But the farmer brothers prefer to plant lavender plants as seedlings. For this, weeds are prepared in the field. In intensive farming, its plants must be produced at a distance of 5 cm. In general, its plants can be planted at any time throughout the year, but to get more commercial production, its plants must be produced in April. Plant Diseases & Prevention

Harvesting
